Glove Goalkeeping
This video sums up the mission of the White Glove Youth Foundation
As of August 2024, The White Glove Youth Foundation has scholarshipped over 100,000 Dollars in camps, tours, and training sessions for GK's in need!
This is made possible by our generous donors and sponsors and the commitment of time by the White Glove Goalkeeping Staff.
The White Glove Youth Foundation (WGYF) is a non profit 501(c)3 corporation created to offer top level training available for aspiring soccer players. Specifically goalkeepers in the initial phase, the foundation will expand to serve all positions, regardless of the family's economic means. WGYF Founder Pat Johnston has been involved in the US club soccer scene for the last five decades and has become a staunch advocate to significantly amend the current "pay for play" model that is prevalent throughout the country. Johnston started this endeavor as a gesture of goodwill in January of 2023, and it quickly became obvious that GK's throughout the area were not receiving sufficient and proper instruction to make a valid attempt at realizing their ambition. He started the process of a formal foundation, the WGYF in October of 2023. WGYF actively seeks like minded benefactors to assist in this endeavor.
Because of our commitment and generous donors, the White Glove Youth Foundation is able to bring kids to Europe for international tours, allows them to gain exposure to top level professional and college coaches via our camps, receive individualized training, and more!
